Kuthuravaali Murungai Dosai – Barnyard Millet Drumstick Leaves Dosa

Kurthiraivali / Barnyard Millet and Murungai / Drumstick are two different types of millets, combined together in this mix. Kurthiraivali / Barnyard Millet is a good source of iron. It has highly digestible proteins, while it is caloric dense when compared to other cereals, Kurthraivalo / Barnyard millet is gluten-free.

Murungai / Drumstick is rich in antioxidants. It promotes health by lowering blood sugar and cholesterol  levels. Upon any inflammation due to injury, consuming this millet will help reduce the inflammation.

Ingredients 

  1. Barnyard Millet Drumstick Leaves Mix
  2. Salt
  3. Coriander Leaves
  4. Curry Leaves
  5. Green Chillies

Preparation Method

  1. Add the powder in water and mix it well in dosa consistency. 
  2. Let it soak for an hour. Add salt to your need, chopped coriander leaves, curry leaves, green chillies to the batter. You can mix it with any kind of batter.
  3. Make paper light dosa in the pan with medium heat. 
  4. Serve it hot and crispy with mint chutney.
