- Ghee

Preparation Method
- Pour 600 ml water in a cooker and add the Varagu Ven Pongal mix to it.
- Cashew nut, pepper, and cumin will be given a packet along with our ready mix.
- Take a vessel and pour 50 ml oil, 2 tablespoon ghee and add finely chopped ginger to it.
- Add a teaspoon of asafoetida (perungayam) curry leaves, and pepper, let it fry a little.
- Add the fried items to the cooker and finally add salt to your need and let it cook for 10 minutes in medium heat.
- Add some butter to a pan, and fry the Cashews until they are golden brown.
- Garnish the Ven Pongal with the fried cashews and serve it hot!
